Summer is officially here 6-20-08
Summer is officially here and now the fun begins. I mean work begins. I don't know about you, but by now, I've developed a long list of chores and work items that need to be completed by the end of summer 2008. Sure it starts innocently enough. Roof a building, build some stairs, plant a garden, cut some firewood. But invariably, I over commit and then I'm left scrambling through summer trying to get things done. And, oh by the way, the days are getting shorter from here on out. About the first of September, when football begins, I will accept defeat, give up and defer some of the projects to 2009. We'll hit the rivers for salmon fishing, and then Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. I better start planning that list for 2009, while I've still got the chance.
